How does one define the term “success” when it comes to a performing arts tour program? We have a few key benchmarks:

Making the director’s life as easy as possible.
We are well aware that the directors of orchestras, choirs, theater departments have a whole different level of challenges before they even leave home! Rehearsals, prop or instrument transportation, music stands, costumes, the list seems endless. With this in mind, we seek to do everything humanly possible to make the pre trip planning on our side as simple, time efficient and painless as we can. Experience allows us to anticipate many needs of the director and provide timely reminders to avoid those last minute panics.
An audience!
Nothing rewards months of rehearsal like a large and appreciative audience. While nobody can absolutely guarantee a full house, we have a tried and tested arsenal of strategies to put bottoms on seats.
The right venue.
We’re sorry but not every group is able to play in London’s Royal Albert Hall or has the budget either! We will consult with you to work on precisely the right mix of venues for your group; the summer evening piazzas of small Italian towns, the castles of Germany, high schools in Scotland, England’s magnificent cathedrals or sing mass at one of Rome’s great basilica. Then there is the broad range of festivals which dot the European landscape in the Spring and Summer months.
Support on the ground.
Your star cellist forgets her bow. The lead guitarist breaks his last string an hour before the show. The tuxedo needs a tailor quick! A time like this is when you appreciate making the decision to tour with Select Travel all those months ago.

Stratford & London Theatre & Dance Tour

Immerse yourself in British Theatre, discover Shakespeare in Stratford and London, visit the West End theatres and take in a night at the ballet. Take workshops in theatre and dance and enjoy London’s famous landmarks, plus a visit to Paris!

Dublin Theatre

Dublin holds theatre close to its heart. Throughout history, Irish theatre has played out the fears and anxiety of a nation divided with incredible passion. The legacy is a colourful theatrical scene in Dublin, with the plays of Beckett and Wilde alongside contemporary and experimental works, as well as the annual Theatre and Fringe festivals in September and October.

Germany & Austria Band/Choir Tour

Take this unique opportunity to perform at the Nymphenburg Palace on this well paced concert tour of southern Germany and the Austrian lake district. The itinerary is easily adapted to marching and concert bands or choirs.

Italian Choir Tour

Ten days starting in Venice, taking in Ravenna, Florence, Assisi and Rome. Combine the splendours of Italy with some very special peforming opportunities in Florence, the Tomb of St. Francis in Assisi, Mass at St. Peter's Basilica and a gala concert in Rome.

Russian Theatre Tour

In 1672 Peter the First ordered the construction of Russia's first public theatre on Red Square. Serf theatre flourished through the 18th century and by the dawning of the 19th century, both Moscow and St. Petersburg had become major theatrical centres with the Bolshoi and the Maly. Following severe restrictions during the Soviet era, today's scene is one of total liberation and rich creative freedom. It is truly a wonder to behold.
